WHO'S READY FOR SUMMER 2024!

WE ARE SO READY!

CAMPERS AGES 3-11 will immerse themselves in the shaded and quite magical world of the Wasatch Nature School Campground with Provo River Trail access.

Our campground is located about 1 mile west of the CLAS Ropes Course on the north side of the street right before entering the Utah Lake State Park!

This year we are offering:

-7 weeks of camps for ages 3-8 (Monday - Thursday)

-3 weeks of camps for ages 8-11 (Monday - Thursday)

-3 Adventure Fridays for ages 6-11 (Fridays only)

Our "Junior" campers (3-8) will be presented with daily play scenarios, games, stories, and activities that will inspire imagination, problem-solving, communication, creativity, and pure delight!

Our "Bear" campers (8-11) will be presented with collaborative challenges, games, survival skills, problem-solving, creativity, and confidence-building activities.

Adventure Day Fridays are for children ages 6-11 and take place at the CLAS Ropes Course from 9:30 -12:30. Children will get to take part in the many fun adventures at the Ropes Course that may include: canoeing, a ride on the giant swing, a zip down the exhilarating zipline, low ropes course, and team building grass games!

We can’t wait to play outside with your campers this summer!

Space is limited to 58 students per week (junior campers) and 20 per week (bear campers). You may enroll your children in as many weeks as you would like!

PRICING:

Junior Camp (ages 3-8): $170/week (M-TH)

Bear Camp (ages 8-11): $175/week (M-TH)

Adventure Day Friday (ages 6-11): $85

June 10th-13th

Camp "Buggin' Out"

Ages 3-8 9:30 am-12:30 pm

This week children will explore spiders, ladybugs, bees, ants, roly-poly, and butterflies! Our campers will hunt for bugs, build their own bug hotels, act out the important jobs of our Bumble friends, participate in arts, crafts, group games, explore the Provo River Trail, be inspired by children's literature, participate in music and movement and so much more. Let's gain an appreciation for the amazing creepy-crawly insect world under our feet!

Camp "Weird Science"

Ages 8-11 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Did you know science is real magic? Come explore in our outdoor laboratory and make real science magic! Our campers will conduct experiments like chemists, make predictions, test hypotheses, build simple machines, build rockets, build with many different materials, participate in group games and challenges, explore the Provo River Trail, be inspired by amazing scientist stories, and so much more! All Scientists Welcome!

Camp "Junior Survivor"

Ages 3-8 9:30 am -12:30 pm

You are never too young to start learning the skills to survive and we do it all through PLAY! Our little campers will build shelters, follow maps to hidden treasures, track footprints, cook up delicious dishes in our camp mud kitchen, build boats, participate in arts, and crafts, and group games, explore the Provo River Trail, be inspired by children's literature, participate in music and movement and so much more. Let's find our wild side and start learning how to survive!

July 12th

Adventure DAy

Ages 6-11 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Are you ready for an adventure? Time to get out of your comfort zone and test your courage and team-building skills! Adventure Day is intended for ages 6-11 and will include challenges that are facilitated by a CLAS ROPES COURSE CERTIFIED GUIDE and chaperoned by a WNS Staff Member. Time permitting, activities will include team-building games and challenges and may include zip lining, a ride on the giant swing, canoeing (time permitting) with a certified guide, and a climb up the rock wall. You won't want to miss it!

June 17th-20th

Camp "Bushcraft & Survival"

Ages 8-11 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Campers will immerse themselves in the core elements of wood, fire, earth, and water as they create delightful bushcrafts (crafts and tools made from the wilderness for survival and enjoyment). Additionally, participants will sharpen their survival skills, build fires, and set up shelters. They will gain skills in whittling and creating homemade spears, slingshots, and whimsical woodland creatures. Participants will discover how bush crafting from natural materials can strengthen their confidence, creativity, and resilience.

Camp "Dragon Masters"

Ages 3-8 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Welcome to the magical realm of fire-breathing fun! Campers will embark on daily adventures filled with fierce daring quests through 5 Dragon Kingdoms! The Realm is in trouble and the only way to restore peace is to rescue the baby dragonets! Our campers will engage in the dragon elements of mud, sand, ice, and sea, participate in puzzling scavenger hunts, engage in medieval-themed arts and crafts, play group games, explore the Provo River Trail, be inspired by enchanting dragon-themed children's literature, participate in music and movement, and so much more. Are you ready to become a Master of the Dragon Realm and rescue the dragonets?

Adventure Day

July 29th - Aug 1st

Camp "Forest Olympics"

Ages 3-8 9:30 am -12:30 pm

Light the Olympic torch, and let the games begin! Your little athletes will navigate obstacle courses, launch bean bags, practice their hula hoop skills, giggle their way through creative relay races, and feel the excitement of interacting in a positive group setting! Campers will learn about different countries, and different Olympic events, and be inspired to have a healthy heart! This week will be inspired by friendly competition that focuses on team building, healthy eating, and enjoyable physical activities. Campers will also explore the forest, view the beautiful wildlife on the Provo River Trail, and participate in daily activities that will include storytelling, mindfulness, and singing.

Camp "Fairy & Gnomeland"

Ages 3-8 9:30 am -12:30 pm

Come play in the magical land of fairies and gnomes and earn talent badges along the way to become a Fairy & Gnome Guardian! Our campers will build fairy and gnome houses, bake up magical dishes and potions in our Fairy & Gnomeland mud kitchen, forage for treasures, mine for gems, practice their agility in a fairy and gnome obstacle course, participate in arts, crafts, and group games, explore the Provo River Trail, be inspired by children's literature, participate in music and movement, and so much more! Come one come all to Fairy and Gnomeland!

August 5th-8th

Camp "Stuck in the Muck"

& Camp "Swamp ThinG"

Ages 3-8 & 8-11 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

& 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Welcome to Mud Swamp! At Mud Swamp MUD is our hero! This week we'll get to celebrate MUD and all its many possibilities! Campers will create muddy artwork, sculpt and build projects with mud, plant seeds in mud, create delicious recipes in a dynamic mud swamp kitchen complete with fragrant spices and herbs, participate in group games, explore the Provo River Trail, enjoy children's literature to inspire and appreciate muddy exploration, and end the week with a muddy swampy Mud-Run Obstacle Course!

Camp "MAGIC SCIENCE"

Ages 3-8 9:30 am- 12:30 pm

Did you know science is REAL magic? Come and play in our outdoor laboratory and make real magic!
