Tiny Troops 2023 - 2024

Our Tiny Troops class (previously called preschool) is designed for children ages 3 turning 4 and children ages 4 turning 5. Children must be 3 by September 1, 2023 to be accepted.

At Wasatch Nature School we strive to make sure every child is healthy and safe, feels valued and cared for, and experiences joyful learning through play!

We accomplish this by establishing safety rules on day 1,  connecting with each individually and getting to know them, incorporating intentional teaching and facilitating purposeful play, leaving time for child-led activities and discoveries! 

We believe in fostering the natural curiosity and imagination that all children have and focus highly on social-emotional topics and goals!

We ultimately hope that through nature school our students will love the earth, love to learn, and value themselves and their classmates!

We are so excited for the upcoming school year and can't wait to learn and play with our students in the forest!

We have 2 and 3-day-a-week class options - MW, TTH, and MWF.
